***Silk Mica is natural and is similar to sericite mica, but it is silkier, whiter, and offers a soft, smooth texture.
***Boron Nitride is a soft, silky, white mineral powder that adds slip and adhesion to a product. Boron Nitride is soft, adds supreme creaminess to the powder, and is a natural, inert mineral.
***Carnauba Wax Mica is Sericite Mica that has been surface treated with Carnauba Wax; the wax coating helps bind the particles, so the formulas have less fly away when pressed.
***Titanium Dioxide is a natural mineral used to whiten, and it makes a product more opaque.
***Magnesium Stearate is a chemical compound of Magnesium (element, same as in vitamins) and Stearate (plant-derived).
***Magnesium Myristate is the combination of Magnesium (a mineral) and Myristate, a fatty acid (naturally occurring). Magnesium Myristate will add adhesion, slip, a soft feel, and will help to repel water.
***Zinc Stearate is made from natural and essential raw materials.
***Fractionated Coconut Oil (we use this to bind our powders) - fraction of coconut oil comprised mainly of Capric and Caprylic Acid, thus giving it more of an antioxidant and disinfecting effect. Fractionated Coconut Oil has a long shelf life, stability, and rancidity resistance.
***Colored Micas add color, shimmer, and shine to the product.
***Nylon12 is a powder we use to help with slip in some of our deeper, more pigmented shades.
***Oxides are natural minerals and add color to the product; they also help to make the product opaque.
***Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Potassium Sorbate, Hexylene Glycol - Preservative we use to preserve our eyeshadows and make them last longer.

Beautiful brown
I agree with other reviews... this hue brings out the greens in my hazel eyes. Blends nicely.

Genuine Cool Tone
Granted I'm new to Sydney Grace in general, but everyone was quite correct in saying this company is among the few Western companies offering genuinely cool-toned makeup and great formulas. Eastern Rise is wonderful for deepening my outer corners. Would also make a gorgeous transition shade for people with cool, deep skin. Plays well other brands of shadows, particularly multichromes. Has already become a staple of mine for sure.

Beyond Brown
This is such a beautiful shade. The purple undertones make for a unique vision. Another artistic creation by Sydney Grace. Has all the qualities we have come to expect - easy to blend, longevity, pigmented, zero fall out, and yes, that unique colour. Brilliant.

Great cool toned plummy brown...
I have been on the search for the perfect plum brown shade, Eastern Rise fits the bill. I like this a lot for more smokey looks and is a good to shade for that. I have used it with Troops and find it pairs very well with that shade. This would also be a great eyeliner shade as well. I appreciate the fact that it's on the cooler side and has more plum tones as opposed to red, it just works really work for me. 5 stars!

Eastern rise
One of the best first SG matte shadows I bought a few years ago and still one of my most faves. There are quite a few similar shades like this in my collection but none of them comes close to it. Big of fan SG matte formula and this color is just gorgeous.

Stunning
This is a beautiful, deep brown with a strong purple hue to it that’s perfect to set the outer corner with or use as a liner. As with every SG shadow, it blends seamlessly. This shade is stunning and will get a lot of use.

Beautiful Neutral
This shade is gorgeous for green eyes. I like it in my outer corners. It works well as a contour shade there, and it blends beautifully while remaining put. It's not too bright or dark for those who want to try a "plum/brown" accent for a daytime or natural look.
